Beyoncé y Adele lideran las nominaciones de los MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 2016

MTV ha anunciado los nominados de los “MTV Video Music Awards 2016”, que se celebrarán el domingo 28 de agosto en el icónico Madison Square Garden por primera vez. Beyoncé y Adele, con once y ocho nominaciones respectivamente, lideran la lista de nominados de esta nueva edición. “Hello” de Adele, “Formation” de Beyoncé, “Hotline Bling” de Drake,  “Sorry” de Justin Bieber y el éxito de Kanye West “Famous” son los vídeos candidatos a hacerse con el título del “Vídeo del año”. El evento podrá verse en directo en MTV España la madrugada del domingo 28 al lunes 29 de agosto a partir de las 02:00h. 

En un año en el que los grandes del panorama musical han lanzado vídeos que podrían denominarse arte, MTV ha desvelado los nominados al “Vídeo del año” en un espectacular mural callejero en el parque “First Street Green” en el East Village de Nueva York. Esta obra de arte urbano ha sido llevada a cabo por artistas mundialmente conocidos como BD White, John Paul Ogrodnick (JPO), Damien Mitchell, Marc Evan, Resa, BKFoxx, Queen Andrea, Hektad, Giz, Such y Poem One. Este original anuncio de los nominados se hizo durante un evento de Facebook.

Este año, en la categoría de “Mejor artista revelación”, presentado por Taco Bell, los dos artistas que más votos hayan recibido, serán revelados durante la alfombra roja previa al show, y el ganador será anunciado en directo por televisión. Los nominados a “Mejor Canción del Verano” se conocerán más adelante.
